Danemathics is built and maintained by Daniel John Simons, a practising South African high school mathematics teacher. After years of watching learners struggle to find decent, well-organised revision material — past tests scattered across WhatsApp groups, memos missing, papers mislabelled — he created this site to put everything in one place, free of charge.

Our approach
Everything on this site follows the South African CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement) curriculum and the four-term school calendar. Resources are filed under the term in which that work is normally assessed, so a Grade 9 learner revising for a June exam can go straight to Term 2 and find relevant papers.
The strongest predictor of exam success we see in the classroom is simple: learners who work through past papers under timed conditions, mark themselves honestly against the memo, and then re-do the questions they got wrong. This site exists to make that habit as easy as possible.
