Number Patterns & Sequences

Number patterns and sequences train the skill of spotting structure: finding the rule behind a list of numbers, writing it as a general term, and using it to predict any term in the sequence. In the senior grades this grows into arithmetic and geometric sequences and series — a guaranteed, formula-driven section of the final examinations that well-prepared learners treat as banked marks.
