Probability

Probability runs from simple relative frequency in the earlier grades to Venn diagrams, tree diagrams, contingency tables and the counting principle in Grade 12. The language matters: mutually exclusive, complementary, independent — each term triggers a specific rule. Draw the diagram first, every time; most probability errors come from trying to hold the structure in your head.
