Term 1 of the CAPS Grade 9 year covers: Whole numbers, integers, common fractions and decimal fractions, exponents (including scientific notation), and numeric and geometric patterns.

The tests and examinations below assess this work, each paired with its memorandum where available. Write the paper under timed conditions before looking at the memo, mark yourself honestly, and redo the questions you lost marks on a few days later — that second attempt is where the learning happens.
