✍️ Extra example: R2000 at 8% simple interest for 3 years
  1. 1
    Write the formula: A = P(1 + i·n).
    Simple interest grows by the same amount each year.

    Substitute: A = 2000(1 + 0.08 × 3) = 2000(1.24).
    i = 0.08, n = 3.
  3. 3
    A = R2480, so interest = R480.
    Total minus the original R2000.
